Installing OpenVPN Client on Windows
Step by step guide on how to install our preferred VPN Client for the Windows operating system.
OpenVPN requires Administrative privileges to be installed. Please contact NetFire or your Internal IT department for assistance
- Go to Community Downloads | OpenVPN to download the most recent version of OpenVPN.
- For this example, the version we will be downloading is OpenVPN 2.5.7.
Note that there may be a more up to date version of OpenVPN available than is shown in this document.
- Select the Windows 64 Bit MSI installer from the drop-down list and begin the download.
Ask us about providing you with a customized VPN installer that is pre-configured for you for a super easy installation.
- Once the Download has completed, run the installer
- No settings need to be changed during the installation.
